Day 1:Queenstown

Arrive at Queenstown, the beautiful boutique town surrounded by the Southern Alps. Sightseeing around town centre then head to Arrowtown; afterwards, you could choose to board the iconic 1912 built TSS Earnslaw ship to cruise on Lake Wakatipu. Stay in Queenstown for the night.

Day 2:Queenstown

Free day. You can choose to venture to Glenorchy for the Dart River jetboat, take a horse-riding, kayaking or bungy-jumping. Skiing or snowboarding is a good option in winter. Stay in Queenstown for the night.

Day 3:Queenstown / Milford Sound / Queenstown

Head to Milford Sound, known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’. Take a cruise of Milford Sound with lunch provided.

Day 4:Queenstown / Lake Tekapo / Christchurch

Head to Lake Tekapo, visit the Church of Good Shepherd or take the Air Safaris’ flight to experience the sensational view of the area. In the afternoon, head to Christchurch for sightseeing in the city. Stay in Christchurch for the night.

Day 5:Christchurch / Fox Glacier

Travel through Arthur’s Pass then to Punakaiki (the Pancake Rocks). Visit the old gold mining town then head to Fox Glacier. Enjoy the marvellous view along the way. Stay in Fox Glacier for the night.

Day 6:Fox Glacier / Queenstown

Experience the greatness and beauty of Fox Glacier then head back to Queenstown. Stay in Queenstown for the night.

Day 7:Queenstown

Last day of the sensational South Island tour. Depart from Queenstown.

Day 5:Oamaru / Lake Tekapo / Queenstown

Head to Lake Tekapo, visit the Church of Good Shepherd or take the Air Safaris’ flight to experience the sensational view of the area; you will see why New Zealand is named as Aotearoa – Land of the long white cloud. Stay in Queenstown for the night.

Day 6:Queenstown

End of the amazing journey of the South Island.

Arrive in Christchurch in the morning, visit the Canterbury Museum and Christchurch Botanic Gardens. End of the lovely South Island Journey.
